.NET Modules

The IDAutomation managed code Visual Basic .NET Module and C#.NET Class File can be used with  IDAutomation Barcode Fonts. Programmers may add the IDAutomation module or class file to an application and then access the functions directly. By using this method, there is nothing to distribute with the application except the barcode font because the functions of the module are compiled into the EXE file.

IDAutomation barcode font modules are free to use as long as a license has been purchased for one of the IDAutomation barcode font products.

 Barcode Fonts - Self Checking

IDAutomation self-checking barcode fonts allow users to create barcodes in any application that uses fonts. The Code 39, Codabar and Industrial 2 of 5 self-checking barcode fonts do not require any complicated calculations.

Barcode Fonts Requiring Check Digits

IDAutomation also has high-density barcodes that are not self-checking and thus require check characters to be calculated and appended to the end of the data string. Free Font Encoders are provided to automatically encode the data, by appending the data with start and stop characters as well as calculating the check character. The most popular are Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5 and UPC/EAN Barcode Fonts.

2D Barcode Fonts

PDF417 and other two-dimensional barcodes such as Data Matrix, Aztec, Maxicode and QR-Code allow encoding of more data in a smaller area.

MICR and OCR Fonts

IDAutomation MICR fonts allow printing of numbers and codes to create bank checks or drafts from blank check stock. This package includes Security Fonts, which are used to securely print text, names and currency amounts on highly secure documents

IDAutomation OCR-A and OCR-B fonts are used for OCR applications requiring these specific fonts.
